In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications in Norway showcased varied performance trends across downloads and active user metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Vegvesen trafikk from Statens vegvesen experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting strong with 9.6K in early January, but gradually declining to around 1.4K by the end of March.

Google Maps maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, with figures hovering between 2.3K and 2.7K. Active users saw a peak in March, reaching over 1.5M, marking a significant presence in the market.

Google Earth displayed steady weekly downloads ranging from 1.4K to 2.2K. Active user numbers fluctuated, starting at 16.8K and ending the quarter at 17.7K, indicating stable engagement.

Bilista saw a gradual increase in downloads from 1.2K to 1.8K by the end of March, reflecting a growing interest among users.

Skisporet by Brav AS recorded the highest weekly revenue among the apps, peaking at $3.2K in mid-February. Downloads decreased significantly over the quarter, starting at 3.6K and dropping to just under 300. Active users remained relatively stable, with slight variations between 16K and 21K.
